Bernard Simon Brennan (1892-1917)
Bernard was born on 8th April 1892 in Bishop Street, Tuam.

In Tuesday’s casualty list appears the name of Bernard Brennan, Leinster Regiment, son of the late Mr. P. Brennan, Bishop Street, Tuam. The deceased had been at the front for over two years, and had taken part in several engagements. He was very popular with all classes in Tuam, and the sad news of his death was heard with the deepest regret by all who knew him.
Bernard was awarded three medals and they are in the proud possession of his father's descendants.
